2011 EVENTS..

• 22-23 January -  dancers Simona & Hernan teach and perform at the Galway Invasion Tango Festival
• Saturday 12 March- 'Tango es..Mujer'.  Celebrating International Women's Day through Tango dance and music. Venue: Odessa Club, 13 Dame Court, Dublin 2. Time: 2-6pm
• Saturday 21st & 28th of May:  Tango Workshops at City Dance studio, Auckland, New Zealand- Taught by  Simona Zaino
• June, every Tuesday and Wednesday: series of Tango workshops at Pasion Por Tango studio, Auckland, New Zealand. taught by Simona Zaino
• Saturday 18th June: Tango workshop for Beginners at the Instituto Cervantes, as part of the El Dia E. event. Taught by Hernan Catvin. Time: 3.30-4.30pm. Info: Instituto Cervantes
• Sunday 10th of July: The Art of Adornos for Followers- workshop taught by Simona Zaino -This workshop is dedicated to women to help them express elegance and individuality in their dance. After working on improving our balance and alignment, we see how our receptiveness to the leader's energy can be turned into beautiful and discretely sophisticated embellishments - Venue: Pasion Por Tango studio, CBD, Auckland, New Zealand
• Saturday 17 of September: Tango workshop for Absolute Beginners at the Ranelagh Festival, 2-4pm Sandfors Park School, Ranelagh,Dublin
• Sunday 25th of September: 'Naples to Buenos Aires' -Traditional Italian Dances workshop-
  Oltremara and Compadrito Tango join forces in this Tammurriata dance workshop at the South William Space (27 South William Space, Dublin 2).We will travel from the street of Naples to the barrios of Buenos Aires, exploring the meaning of Tammurriata and its early influence on Argentine Tango. Get ready for a wonderful journey full of captivating music and exhilarating dances. After the workshop, we will all join the mixed ronda of Tammuriata and Tango! Price: donation.  Please wear comfortable shoes. No partner required.
