FRIDAY 29 AUGUST

Venue: the Globe Pub on George St., Dublin 2

7-8pm FILM SCREENING Free

The Globe pub will host the screening of this unique documentary produced in Argentina. A celebration of tango dance and music.. the history, the social roots, the dance floor rituals, the immortal tango characters.. A passionate homage to what Martha Graham called ´the most beautiful dance of the century´..

8-9pm TANGO WORKSHOP for Absolute Beginners €10

Everybody is invited to join teachers Simona and Elmar on the dance floor to learn the basics of this sensual and passionate dance.. don't forget the red rose between your teeth!

SATURDAY 30 AUGUST

8pm till late MILONGA DE MIS AMORES.. €35

A late, late night of live Tango music and dance..

· 8pm: doors open- music by DJ John

· 9pm-11pm: Concert & Milonga with all female tango trio Sensiblero:

Sensiblero have performed at numerous tango events in various countries. Their music, superbly arranged for milongas, blends the passion of tango with an all feminine touch.. a rarity in the tango music world!

· 11pm: Tango exhibition with guest dancers Adrian Veredice & Alejandra Hobert (Argentina)

· 11.30pm-till late: Milonga (Tango club) with DJ John
